Who Are The Siblings Of King Charles?
King Charles is the oldest and the longest-serving heir apparent in British history. He is also the oldest person ever to assume the British throne at the age of 73.
Charles, who earlier served as the Prince of Wales, has three siblings; one sister and two brothers. They are Princess Royal Anne, Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.
William, Charles’ eldest son, is first in line for the throne now as his father is the king. Charles, who was the heir apparent since the age of three, was also the first royal heir to earn a university degree.
He tied the knot with Lady Diana Spencer in 1981 and the couple had two children, Prince William and Henry also known as Harry. In 1992, the duo legally separated and Diana died in a car accident in 1997. Charles then married Camilla Parker Bowles and has been with her ever since.
The Royal Family’s Line Of Succession
Charles’s son Prince William, Duke of Cornwall is first in line to the throne. If William becomes the King after Charles, his son George, second in line, will be the 43rd monarch.
