Who Is Chris Ivery?
Chris Ivery had been a record producer for about 25 years in the music industry. Much is not known about his work in the industry. But he is credited as the writer of Rihanna’s song ‘Cheers (Drink to That)’ in 2011. In 2019, at the age of 50, Ivery had a career change. One of his favorite clothing brands, Sergio Tacchini was hard to find in the United States so he had to order it from the UK. That is when he got an idea, reached out to Sergio Tacchini label, and talked about a relaunch in Los Angeles.
“He’s been in the music business for 25 years and he changed careers at 50. And he killed it,” his wife told to Us Weekly. “I mean, knocked it out of the park. It’s amazing! So for anybody who feels they’re stuck, you can change your career at any age.” It was through his efforts that the STLA Collection was born.

How Did Ivery And Pompeo Meet?
The couple met for the first time back in 2003, two years before she debuted in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. That too, the two met at a grocery store in Los Angeles. The pair after a few minutes of chatting understood that they had lived within 10 miles apart of each other in Boston. But they never crossed paths until they met in California as adults. “We were six degrees our whole lives, so I feel like we were sort of meant to be,” Pompeo said recounting their meeting.
They had a platonic relationship for some time before they took things to the next level. Chris Ivery proposed to Pompeo later in 2006 and they tied the knot in 2007 secretly. The couple has two daughters- Stella Luna, and Sienna May, along with a boy- Eli Christopher. Accepting people as who they are, Pompeo shared the secret for a long-term relationship.
