Matthew McConaughey is an American actor, born on November 4, 1969. He is currently married to model Camila Alves. He is known for his lead role in the legal drama ‘A Time to Kill’ (1996). Matthew had his breakout role with a supporting performance in the coming-of-age comedy ‘Dazed and Confused’ in 1993. Who Is Camila Alves?
Camila Alves was born on born 28 January 1982. She is a Brazilian model and entrepreneur. Alves launched her modeling career after moving from Brazil to New York at age 19. She began designing women’s handbags in 2008 — the same year she co-founded the Just Keep Livin Foundation with her husband. Camila appeared in music videos for Chingy and Ne-Yo. In 2014, Alves launched the online health and nutrition platform Women of Today.
Her mother is an artist and designer, and her father is a ranch owner. In 2010, she hosted the third season of the Bravo network reality television series, ‘Shear Genius’. She has modeled for many renowned brands and companies including Macy’s. Although, Alves did a number of odd jobs, from being a waitress to working as a house cleaner before becoming a model.

How Did Matthew McConaughey Meet Camila?
After looking at their story, it seems like McConaughey manifested a real-life rom-com for himself. He first saw Camila at a club in Los Angeles and fell in love. “So, I’m healthily single at a club on Sunset, And I’m making margaritas at the end of the table, and this figure moves across the room. And I remember [saying] to myself, ‘What is that?’ I didn’t say, ‘Who is that?’ I said, ‘What is that?’ She sits down, and I can’t get my eyes off her, and I’m waving, trying to get her [attention]. … I go over and introduce myself,” told Matthew.
Although Matthew convinced her to go to his house, he couldn’t get her to his bed. He even tried to take her on a date but she denied it. After rejecting him twice the actor finally won him over. Fatedly, the two started dating shortly after. The model said about her now husband, “It’s very funny because people see him onscreen or out there in public in a certain way, and they have this vision of him being this romantic and so passionate. Just very romantic and grabs you and kisses you. And sometimes I’m like, ‘Who is this guy? Can you be a little bit of that?’”
In July 2008, the pair welcomed their first son, Levi. In January 2010 McConaughey announced the birth of their second child, daughter Vida.
