However, Meghan Markle’s father Thomas Markle is unhappy about it.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had their latest public appearance at the Invictus Games. Meghan Markle had given a shout-out to her kids in her first talk at the Games as she arrived a couple of days late. Prince Archie turned four this year and is a school-going kid and Princess Lilibet celebrated her second birthday in June.

Thomas Markle Wants To See His GrandChildren
Thomas Markle appeared on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on September 18 with a plea to meet his grandkids. Meghan Markle‘s estranged father is ‘heartbroken’ and ‘upset’ as he is not able to meet his grandkids.“This is a cruel thing to do to a grandparent, to deny the right to see a grandchild,” said in the interview. “In California, I can actually sue to see them but I don’t want to do that. The other thing is I’ve done nothing wrong. There’s nothing that points to say I’m a bad guy,” the 79-year-old added.
Thomas Markle had begged his daughter to see his grandchildren. In addition, he had also not seen his daughter for the past five years as he was in a hospital bed. “I’m a really loving father and she knows that, and there’s no excuse for treating me this way – no excuse to treat grandparents that way,” the former lighting director said. Markle has told the media his longing to see the young kids before he died. He also made an apology for whatever he had done wrong.

Thomas Markle Still Loves Daughter Meghan Markle
The father-daughter duo, Meghan Markle and Thomas Markle lived under the same roof from sixth grade to high school. The father is shocked to see the kind of woman Meghan Markle has turned into. ‘She is not the person I knew as my daughter,’ he remarked. ‘I am always here for her, I still love her – I’ll love her forever. That will never change but I want her to reach out to me and let me see my grandkids and let me have a little peace,’ he added.
The grandfather of two has confided that he is similar to the paternal grandfather King Charles who has also not done anything wrong. But neither grandparent has any contact with their grandkids. Talking again about the ‘Suits‘ actress, Thomas Markle had only good things to say. “She has always been very sweet and talented. Very loving – she always was before – I don’t know now,’ he recounted. Though the father and daughter duo are not on good terms, maybe the old man’s wish will one day come true.
