With the rescheduling of ‘Batman II’ until 2026, a new actor’s name is emerging to play the role of Harvey Dent. It is rumored that actor Holbrook will portray the role in the next Batman film.

Boyd Holbrook Rumored To Be In DCU As Harvey Dent
Sources disclosed that Boyd Holbrook was preoccupied with his other obligations including ‘James Mangold’s: A Complete Unknown’ and ‘Andrew Levitas’s Last Meal’. Later it was announced that ‘Batman II‘ wouldn’t be released before October 2, 2026. Hence this opens the doors for Holbrook to play the role of Harvey Dent. The character also goes by the name ‘two face‘. He is a well-liked adversary and one of the most recognizable tragic heroes of Gotham City.
In Netflix Originals ‘Narcos’, Holbrook established himself as an actor by portraying DEA agent Steve Murphy. Furthermore, he captivated the audience with his portrayal of Corinthian in ‘The Sandman‘. This suggests his abilities for the role of antagonist in ‘Batman II‘.
The movie’s admirers are dissatisfied with the extension of the release date. Additionally, the fact that the movie’s cast is unclear adds more to the difficulty. Nevertheless, as of right now, Robert Pattinson is the only cast member whose name is confirmed. Neither Matt Reeves is confirming anything related to the movie.

Legacy Of Harvey Dent In ‘Batman’
Many actors played the role of Harvey Dent in the past. Tommy Lee Jones brought out this complex character in full sway in ‘Batman Forever’, Billy Dee Williams played Dent in ‘Batman’ (1989), and Aaron Eckhart took up the mantle in ‘Dark Knight‘.
Holbrook therefore needs to back up the role of Harvey and demonstrate all his skills. Right now, there has been no confirmation of the same.
