The DC Universe is still in its infancy, but the foundation being laid is hinting at something fans have long desired: a new approach to Wonder Woman.
And, surprisingly enough, the next ‘Supergirl’ could be the one that would make her debut feel less forced and more natural.
Supergirl Might Open The Door Without Forcing It

On the surface, the story of Supergirl appears to be about Kara Zor-El seeking her identity in the world that she does not entirely belong to. Take a closer look, though, and you have a cunning chance right in front of your eyes.
The DCU has already made it clear that there are heroes like Superman and Batman, and that they have a history. That’s important. It implies that when a new hero is introduced into the frame, they do not have to have a gradual and distant genesis; they can be brought into an existing world. Wonder Woman fits in there.

The conflict of identity Kara faces, as she is torn between worlds, is similar to the journey of Diana in another sense. When Superman notices Kara having a hard time making new friends, it would not be too hard to find someone who has already taken the same path.
Such a treatment would not only bring Wonder Woman to the fore; it would make her feel human at once. Rather than a big, theatrical entrance, consider something more subtle, yet significant. That is the type of debut that makes an impression.
A Chance To Fix What DC Never Fully Explored Before

It is true that, until now, the previous live-action incarnations of Wonder Woman, particularly the ones in Justice League, had provided us with peeks at what she can do in a team, but not with enough. The character was mostly bigger than life, but a little bit remote. The DCU can alter that.

By adding Wonder Woman to an already interconnected world, DC can instantly experiment with her relationships, rather than her strength. Her relationship with Superman, her attitude to the human race, and even her role as an intermediary between myth and contemporary living can be discussed.
And, assuming that the universe is steadily expanding, this Diana might develop over time rather than being squeezed into a few appearances. That is the true chance here. Not any introduction, but a wiser one. Should Supergirl set the stage silently, the arrival of Wonder Woman will not be a headline moment. It will seem like something that was destined to happen.
