Dwayne Johnson was briefly pulled over by police in Los Angeles on April 30 after attending a Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony honoring Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci.
The 53-year-old had just appeared at the event in Hollywood, California, where he delivered remarks celebrating Blunt, his longtime collaborator. Shortly after leaving the ceremony, Johnson was stopped by officers for a traffic violation related to the tint on his vehicle’s windows, according to reports citing law enforcement sources.
Footage from the scene showed Johnson stepping out of his vehicle and calmly interacting with a motorcycle officer. He handed over documents, signed paperwork, and returned to his car as the stop concluded. The exchange appeared routine, with no signs of escalation during the interaction.
Under California law, front vehicle windows must allow more than 70 percent of light to pass through, while windshield tinting is limited to a restricted section. Johnson was cited for the violation before continuing on his way, with no further issues reported.
Earlier that day, Johnson joined several high-profile attendees at the ceremony, including Meryl Streep, Robert Downey Jr., and Matt Damon. In his speech, he reflected on Blunt’s character and outlook.
He said, “Every single day, knowing Emily, as many of us do, that is one grateful woman who will wake up feet on the ground, being grateful about every moment. I feel like when you’re grateful about every moment, that then leads to the thing I think we all look for, which is joy and peace of mind, and those are all the things I think that make up Emily and so much more.”

Kevin Hart Takes Credit For The Rock’s Hollywood Traffic Ticket

Comedian Kevin Hart drew attention on May 2 after reacting to Dwayne Johnson’s traffic stop while speaking to paparazzi in Miami.
Hart hilariously referred to Johnson as a “piece of s***” and said he had called the police on him. When asked again, he repeated the remark while maintaining a serious tone during the exchange.
The comments were made in a joking context. Hart and Johnson share a long-standing friendship and are known for trading insults publicly during interviews and appearances.
