Jeremiyah Love says he plans to prioritize his family over personal spending as he prepares for his NFL future.
In a post shared on X, Love was asked how he intends to use his professional earnings. He said he does not plan to spend his salary and instead wants to grow it while using other income streams to support his parents.
“I’m not spending any of it. I’m going to let my advisor make it grow. I’m going to use my marketing money to buy a house for my parents and a car for my dad.”
Love added that he intends to put himself last financially. He has previously indicated that his goal in reaching the NFL is to help his parents and build generational wealth. His comments come as he transitions from his college career with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team to the professional level.

The running back, who was born on May 31, 2005, in St. Louis, gained national attention for his performance at Notre Dame. His rise in football has been closely connected to his long-term financial goals and commitment to family support.
Jeremiyah Love credits parents’ structure and support for his development

Love was raised in St. Louis by his parents, Jason and L’Tyona Love, both retired police officers with military backgrounds. They played a central role in shaping his routine and keeping him focused on structured activities such as school and sports.
During his childhood, his parents noticed he had distinct behavioral traits, including a preference for solitude and strong attention to detail. They introduced him to competitive sports, which became an outlet for discipline and growth.
His parents maintained a structured daily schedule and limited his exposure to challenges in their neighborhood. Their approach focused on keeping him engaged through academics, sports, and other activities.
Love has described a close relationship with his father, who encouraged him to pursue football. The two share a pregame ritual that began when Love was young and has remained part of his preparation ever since.
In 2025, Love and his father worked together on a comic book project inspired by his life. The project reflects his personal experiences and emphasizes individuality and resilience.
