Henry Cavil as Superman is no doubt the best thing ever to happen to DCEU. He just fits so well in the character that Cavill and Superman has become synonyms. Though after Christopher Reeves, many actors have tried their level best to portray one of the American Pop Cultures with the needed warmth, gravity, and strength, but failed. Whereas Cavil possesses all those qualities and has executed the role with marvelous acting skills.
Cavil Will Never Return As Superman?
Since 2017’s “Justice League”, Henry Cavil has not appeared as Superman on the screen. According to sources, there is a possibility that he might not come back to this role ever again. Previously it was decided that Superman will return on screen for an upcoming DC movie. But it seems that is not going to happen anytime soon.
Cavil has confirmed many times that he wants to play Superman again and wants to Come back To DCEU. In an interview with GQ Spain, Henry said that he would do everything to justify the role if he comes back. Cavil has expressed his heartfelt emotion about what it would take him to return as Clark.
“I was very keen on really fleshing out Superman’s early stages of his journey first,” Cavill says in a new interview. “We had Man of Steel, and then we went quite a bit darker with Batman v Superman. And if he were to succumb to the Anti-Life Equation and become bad Superman [in Justice League sequels], I really wanted to make sure saw the hero Superman and we saw the true symbol of hope, the beacon of light before we went down the path of darkness and then redemption.”
Cavil Is Rocking The Captain Britain Attire
Recently an artist from an Instagram handle named “Savagecomics” posted a picture on the same social media platform. He has created an amazing concept design of Henry Cavil as Captain Britain. The outfit looks marvelous for Cavil and gives him a unique Marvel character look. The post also features an incredible holographic shield.

In a recent interview, Henry said that he is interested in being cast as Captain Britain in MCU.
“I’m never going to say a Marvel character that is already being played by someone else because everyone’s doing such an amazing job. However, I have the internet and I have seen the various rumours about Captain Britain and that would be loads of fun to do a cool, modernized version of that — like the way they modernized Captain America. There’s something fun about that, and I do love being British.” Says Cavil.”
Fans are excited to see Henry Cavill rocking the Captain Britain role in upcoming MCU movies.
