Victoria Beckham has publicly addressed the ongoing family rift involving her son, Brooklyn Beckham, and his wife, Nicola Peltz, for the first time.
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, the 51-year-old fashion designer and former Spice Girls star spoke briefly about the strained relationship with her eldest son. While she did not mention Brooklyn by name, Victoria reflected on her role as a parent alongside her husband, David Beckham.
She said, “I think that we’ve always — we love our children so much. We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be.”
She added, “And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.”

The remarks mark Victoria Beckham’s first public response since Brooklyn made allegations earlier this year regarding his relationship with his parents.
Everything To Know About Brooklyn Beckham’s Claims And The Alleged Family Feud

Earlier this year, Brooklyn Beckham shared a detailed statement on Instagram outlining his side of the dispute. He described a long-standing breakdown in his relationship with his parents and explained why he chose to speak publicly.
He wrote, “I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed. I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
He also alleged that his parents interfered in his relationship with Nicola Peltz before their wedding. “My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped,” he wrote.
Beckham further added, “My mum canceled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress. Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children.”
