Marvel may have quietly planted the seeds for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man to eventually wear the black suit again. The connection could go all the way back to ‘No Way Home’, when a tiny piece of the Venom symbiote was left behind in the MCU after Eddie Brock returned to his own universe.
If ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is really building toward Doctor Doom assembling an army of dangerous beings, that leftover symbiote could become much more important than it initially appeared. It would also give Marvel a clean way to introduce Venom.
Doctor Doom Might Be Collecting More Than Heroes

The mysterious post-credit material from ‘Avengers: Endgame Encore’ could potentially provide the first clue. Bruce Banner is shown hiding deep underground in a military bunker before Doctor Doom arrives and tells him, “I am here to collect you.“

That wording is particularly interesting if Doom’s plan involves gathering powerful beings rather than simply defeating them. A character like Hulk would be an obvious addition to an army designed to overwhelm Earth’s heroes. But Doom could potentially target other dangerous or psychologically vulnerable characters as well.
That could leave room for Doom to gather an unusual collection of superpowered beings, including monsters and characters he believes can be controlled or exploited. And that is where the Venom connection becomes interesting.
The ‘No Way Home’ Symbiote Could Become Spider-Man’s Black Suit

At the end of ‘No Way Home’, a small piece of the symbiote remains behind after Eddie Brock is sent back to his universe. Marvel deliberately showed the piece moving across the bar before the credits ended, leaving behind a very obvious setup for a future story.

What if Doom finds it first? Rather than immediately giving the symbiote to another host, ‘Doomsday’ could show it contained somewhere in Doom’s collection. It would not need to be a major storyline yet. It could simply be another dangerous object waiting for the right person. And that person could eventually be Peter Parker.
If ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ brings Spider-Man into contact with Doom’s collection, Peter could become bonded to the symbiote and finally get the black suit. That would allow Marvel to use ‘Secret Wars’ as the beginning of Peter’s symbiote journey rather than rushing directly into another Venom movie.
Then ‘Spider-Man 5’ could explore the consequences. It is only a theory for now, but the pieces are surprisingly neat: the leftover symbiote, Doom’s collection and Peter Parker all potentially lead toward the same destination.
