    1. Thor (2011)

    Released May 6, 2011, ‘Thor’ is the fourth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The origin story of the film focuses on the powerful but arrogant god Thor is cast out of Asgard to live amongst humans in Midgard (Earth), where he soon becomes one of their finest defenders.

    2. The Avengers (2012)

    Released on May 4, 2012, the basic premise of the film focuses on Loki, who encounters the Other, the leader of an extraterrestrial race known as the Chitauri and in exchange for retrieving the Tesseract, which is a powerful energy source of unknown potential.

    3. Thor: The Dark World (2013)

    The third installment of the franchise was released on November 8, 2013, and stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, and others. The premise of the film is set in ancient times. The gods of Asgard fought against an evil race known as the Dark Elves and won the war.

    4. Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

    The fourth installment of the franchise premiered on May 1, 2015. The Avengers enter the Eastern European country of Sokovia and they enter a Hydra facility where Baron Wolfgang von Strucker is the leader. They aim to retrieve the scepter that is being used by Strucker for experiments.

    5. Thor: Ragnarok (2017)

    Released on November 3, 2017, the film continues from when Thor was imprisoned by the fire demon Surtur, two years after the battle of Sokovia. Surter also discloses that Thor’s father Odin is no longer in Asgard.

    6. Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

    Released on April 27, 2018, the sixth installment revolves around all the avengers including Thor, Hulk, and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy Thanos to collect all six Infinity Stones.

    7. Avengers: End Game (2019)

    Released on April 26, 2019, the seventh installment features Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, and others. The main story continues after the events of the previous film where Thanos wipes out half of the universe. We see Tony Stark and Nebula being rescued by Carol Danvers and They return to earth. The remaining Avengers team up again to fight against Thanos and attempt to revive those who left them.

    8. Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)

    Released on July 8, 2022, the latest installment of the franchise features Chris Hemsworth, Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Taika Waititi, and others. Following the events of the previous films Thor tries to avoid violence but is forced to return to his old form when Gorr the God butcher starts eliminating all the gods for his own selfish motive.
