“I Read The Script And I Was Like, ‘It’s Cool As F*ck'”: Ralph Ineson Reflects On His Role Of Galactus In ‘The Fantastic Four’

Actor Ralph Ineson will be taking on the major role of an antagonist Galactus in The Fantastic Four’. The actor reveals about his experience of playing the character. Ralph shared that he wasn’t aware much about the plot and the character but there was someone to help him.

Ralph’s son was there to recuse him. He was excited about taking up the role and joining the Marvel universe and his son educated him well on the Marvel lore.

Ralph Ineson Shared How Happy He Is To Be Part Of The Movie

Ralph talked about his casting for the movie The Fantastic Four’. During an interview with The Movie Dweeb, Ralph talked about how he can’t reveal much about the plot and his role in the movie but he shared his excitement about the role and exploring more about the Marvel universe through his child.

“I think I’m just excited to be part of this absolutely insane huge world,” Ineson said. “It’s Galactus. I can’t say much, but it’s Galactus. There’s a lot to be excited about.”

He continued, “It’s great, and I’m not someone who knows the whole lore of Marvel…. [My son has been] teaching me a lot. I loved it when I got the part, and read the script. So I was like, ‘That’s cool as f***.’ And now, the more I’ve understood about the universe, and the way it all fits together, I’m like, ‘Yeah, that’s really cool as f***.”

How’s The Performance Of Fantastic Four Going To Be?

Galactus

There is a lot of pressure on the film to perform well, due to past underwhelming responses from the ‘Fantastic Four’ movies. With keeping the following thing in mind, Ineson wants this movie to do well with regard to his character Galactus and wants it to be a big success.

He said, “Yeah, because that would mean that the film’s successful“. He continued, “That’s kind of what we’re in for. So yeah, that would be an ideal outcome for everybody involved, but obviously especially for me.”

The cast of the movie also includes Pedro Pascal, aka Mister Fantastic Vanessa Kirby, aka Invisible Woman; Joseph Quinn, aka Human Torch; and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, aka The Thing. There are a few mystery roles as well including, Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, and Natasha Lyonne.

The Fantastic Four’ shall hit the theatres on July 25, 2025.
