‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever‘ is definitely in danger after the passing away of their protector T’Challa. The trailer of the movie revealed that Namor (yes marvel’s Aquaman) is the villain in the story. Tenoch Huerta’s Namor is not a light force to be reckoned with and Namor attacking Wakanda surely has a bigger motive behind it.
Namor is often seen as a rip-off of DC’s Aquaman in Marvel. However, the company decided to do some major changes while finally introducing him to the big screen. Let’s get to know more about him and the reason behind his attack on the nation of Wakanda.

Who Is Namor?
Namor is a fictional character that appears in Marvel comics. He is also known as the Sub Mariner. He made his debut in 1939 and was created by the writer Bill Everett. The character was first seen in ‘Marvel Comics #1’. Namor was born in the capital city of the Atlantean empire. He is also Marvel’s first mutant.
If we take a look at his powers, they are actually pretty impressive and the supper shredded body with a green suit certainly adds to the overall charm. He is a hybrid and contains Human and Atlantean DNA. Namor contains superpowers like super strength, agility, durability, and speed. He can even survive underwater for years and years and has a special vision that doesn’t get hindered by water.

Why Is He A Threat To Wakanda?
From the trailer, one can easily decipher that Namor is basically planning to drown the kingdom of Wakanda. This idea is based on ‘Avengers Vs. X-Men’ comic events where he uses the power of the Phoenix Force to flood Wakanda and this creates an everlasting war between Wakanda and Atlantis (now changes to Talocan).
However, we still don’t know if the undersea ruler is really as evil as we see in the trailer. In a movie clip, we see the sea god asking, “I need to know if Wakanda is an ally or an enemy.” Maybe it’s because of his hatred for the surface world and his need to increase the powers of his kingdom that he takes this decision.
