Gina Gershon and Tom Cruise formed a stunning pair in the 1988 American comedy-drama ‘Cocktail’. The movie also marked Gershon’s first time shooting a sex scene. The 62-year-old actress recently recalled that she almost broke Cruise’s nose while doing the scene.
Gershon appeared on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ recently. While in conversation with host Andy Cohen, Gershon revealed how Tom Cruise took care of her while filming the scene.

It is always a challenge for actors when it comes to filming intimate scenes. The importance of having mutual respect for each other while filming these scenes is paramount. And actress Gina Gershon revealed how Tom Cruise was a complete gentleman in such a case.
On her recent appearance on ‘Watch What Happens Live‘, Gershon revealed how she almost broke his nose while filming ‘Cocktail’. “He was a gentleman,” Gershon said. “It starts off under the covers and I told him I was very ticklish. I was like, ‘No, no, don’t ever do that.’”
Gershon continued, “In one take, I think he wanted a reaction, and he grabbed my stomach and I kneed him right in the nose. I was like, ‘Oh my god! I just broke Tom Cruise’s nose.’ He was like, ‘No you told me to. It’s my fault.’ He was so protective over me.”

Gina Gershon Reveals Tom Cruise’s First Wife Was Present On The Set
Filming intimate scenes with your co-star’s wife present on the sets was a very intimidating matter for Gina Gershon. However, Cruise was very protective of Gershon as it was her first time as a newcomer to Hollywood.
“He had just gotten married,” Gershon said referring to then-wife Mimi Rogers and added that she “was very present.” However, Gershon quipped, “But we did kiss as much as we could. Every scene it was like, ‘Should we kiss in the scene?’ ‘Oh yeah, I think we should kiss.’ It was my first love scene ever.” When host Andy Cohen asked whether Cruise took care of her, Gershon added, “Totally.”
