The Jumanji movie franchise has been a fan favorite since 1995 and is still around with a strong box office presence in recent releases. The last movie in the franchise was released in 2019 called ‘Jumanji: The Next Level‘ and fans have been waiting for the next part with no confirmation from the studio.
Jumanji 4 is still one of the most awaited movies in the series. Actress Karen Gill, who plays Ruby Roundhouse in the film, recently gave a major update about the future of the Franchise. Here is everything you need to know about Jumanji 4.

The Jumanji Game Is Not Over Yet
The game is not over yet, Jumanji- the final level awaits us all. After ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ in 2019, fans were waiting eagerly for the next part of the movie after the director of the movie Jake Kasdan confirmed that it was happening.
Although there was no additional information about the progress of the movie, it changed recently when Karen Gillan confirmed the fourth part of the movie is still alive.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter the actress was asked about the delayed Jumanji 4 to which she replied that the cast and everyone were ready and keen on making the movie but they are having a bit of difficulty while scheduling the movie.
“If you find out [who’s to blame for it taking so long], can you let me know? Because I don’t know. I’m sure it’s tricky to wrangle everyone’s schedules, but I haven’t heard anything about it other than the fact that we will be doing it at some point. So we’re all so enthusiastic about it. We all love working on those films, and it’s just a matter of when,” Karen said about the film.

What To Expect From The New Movie?
With a long wait of nearly five years, fans expect a lot from the new movie. It would be focusing on time jump by sending the characters to high school. A lot of aspects are to be seen as the connection with the previous part of the movie. Jumanji 4 could also be the last and final part of the series.
Fans need not worry about Jumanji 4 being the final part of the series as there is always an option for a reboot or the studio can wait for a few decades before jump-starting the Franchise again with a brand new cast, same as they did with the Dwayne Johnson led trilogy this time.
