    ‘Musical Cinematic Universe’: Timothée Chalamet Wants Austin Butler To Join Him In Bob Dylan Biopic As Elvis Presley

    The stars of ‘Dune 2‘ are getting along great. Despite only recently being released in theatres, the film is also performing well. Timothée Chalament revealed how he has been constantly soaking up his co-star Austin Butler‘s brain on set. The two are among the most promising young actors in Hollywood.

    Now, Chalamet is getting ready to play music legend Bob Dylan in his biopic, ‘A Complete Unknown. He spoke about how Baz Luhrmann’s ‘Elvis‘ was “phenomenal”, in which Austin Butler portrayed the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll Elvis Presley. So, a ‘musical cinematic universe’ where Chalamet’s Dylan and Butler’s Elvis come together is the ‘Call Me By Your Name‘ actor’s dream.

    In an interview with NME, Austin Butler talked about the Bob Dylan movie and expressed his enthusiasm to see it while praising Timothée Chlament. He said, “Timothée works so hard, and it’s just so cool to get to discuss process and talk through things. I can’t wait for that film. I wish I could be on set every day to just watch the magic happen.” Directed by James Mangold, a release date hasn’t been set yet for ‘A Complete Unknown‘.

    Soon after, Timothée invited Austin to join him in the movie and said he was kind of wishing they could create a “musical cinematic universe.”

    Timothée Chalamet and Austin Butler rave about each other in press conferences and working together in ‘Dune 2‘ also pulled them closer.

    “You meet someone by destiny, by the destiny of the script that you know you will have to work with intimately. You go, ’OK, so he’s not only a great talent but a great guy, which is hard to find,” Chalamet told NBC New York in an interview last month.
