Hurry up Spiderman fans! The sequel to your favorite movie has finally been announced. The sequel to the Oscar-winning movie ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse‘ (Part One) finally has a trailer and a release date. And guess what, we are going to meet Miles and Gwen Stacy again.
Spiderverse has also announced part two of this sequel which will be released on March 29, 2024, if it doesn’t get delayed of course. Here is everything you need to know about the anticipated film.

What Is The Plot Of ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’?
The film will revolve around the multiverse of alternative spider universes called the Spider-Verse. The official synopsis of the ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse‘ reads, “Miles Morales returns for an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered.”
Chris Miller, the producer told, “The development of new groundbreaking art techniques being done for the next Spider-Verse movie are already blowing me away. It’s going to make the first movie look quaint.” Phill lord told Collider, “It is a very ambitious sequel, because we didn’t want to do the same thing again. So the idea we would be going to different dimensions, really opened up an opportunity artistically to have each world have its own art style.”
The Cast And Release Date
The movie is set to be released in theatres on June 2, 2023. However, the film was originally set to release in April 2022 to October 2022 but it got delayed due to the pandemic. According to the reports, the production of the sequel has begun. The animator Nick Kondo confirmed it on June 9, 2020, so this will be the final date with no more delays.
Talking about the cast, however, as the trailer revealed, Shameik Moore and Hailee Steinfeld will reprise their role as Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy. Oscar Issac will play Miguel O’Hara, aka Spider-Man 2099. Luna Lauren Vélez will play Miles’s mother Rio. Brian Tyree Henry will be back as Miles’s father Jefferson Davis. Also, Jake Johnson will reprise his role as Peter B Parker.
