During a recent interview, the ‘Enchanted’ singer talked about her musical journey and revealed the involvement of Kim Kardashian in 2016’s infamous Kanye West call controversy.

During a recent Time interview, after Taylor Swift was crowned the Person of the Year 2023, she revealed that Kim Kardashian was involved in the leak of the 2016 phone call between the singer and Kanye West regarding his song ‘Famous‘.
Kardashian posted the footage of the call on social media, pinning on Taylor approving the lines “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous.” However, Taylor then went into hiding because of the endless bullying from Kanye’s fans, and a year later her album ‘Reputation‘ silenced the bullying.
About the scandal, Swift said, “You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar. That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before”.
Swift also revealed how hard it was for her to deal with the wrongful hate that made her move to a foreign country temporarily, pushing all the people away from her life.
Before moving ahead in the interview, Swift launched a scathing attack on Kim and her ex-husband and all the other people who tried to sabotage her career. The singer added, “Trash takes itself out every single time. But I’ve also learned there’s no point in actively trying to quote unquote ‘defeat your enemies.’ Trash takes itself out every single time.”

However years after the ugly feud, Taylor Swift has finally learned to move on from the drama, even though the Grammy winner has made light of the Kanye feud on multiple occasions.
