The video was posted on 3 August 2024. The singer had projected the game onto a huge screen of the Girėnas stadium.
Currently, Sheeran is on his Mathematics tour. It is to cover cities such as Dublin in Ireland and Dusseldorf in Germany. The tour will comprise 144 shows in support of his album ‘=‘ and ‘-‘. The tour is scheduled to end in September 2025.

In the video, the ‘Perfect‘ singer is seen sitting in the Girėnas Stadium in Lithuania and playing Pokémon Stadium on the stadium’s large screen. However, his interest in Pokémon goes beyond the game. Sheeran’s song ‘Celestial‘ was featured in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games in 2022.
The Give Me Love singer revealed that he was first hooked on Pokémon through the cards. However, the real obsession began with video games. Sheeran describes them as not merely games but as a lifestyle choice. He believes that the world of Pokemon is a welcoming escape for the Photograph singer from reality.
