Kanye West has made a comeback with a joint album with TY Dolla $ign titled ‘Vultures’. Recently, they had a star-studded listening party for the album in Miami. Artists like Lil Durk, Bump J, Offset, and others were present. During the ‘Vultures Rave’, Ye played several songs from the album, including the Nicki Minaj feature ‘New Body’.
Currently, Nicki Minaj is riding on the success of her new album after five years, titled ‘Pink Friday 2’. The queen of rap has created some new records with her album on the streaming platforms. Not even a month into the release of the new album, she is embroiled in controversy. After Billboard and Elliott Wilson, Kanye West has been added to the list of new woes. Ye is not taking it in the right spirit, as Minaj has refused to clear her verse on ‘New Body’.

Kanye West Says He Supported Nicki Minaj’s Career Amidst ‘New Body’ Row
Nicki Minaj is dominating the streaming platforms with ‘Pink Friday 2’. The queen of rap released an album five years after ‘Queen’. During the ‘Queen’ era, Nicki had a hate train going in the industry as people were trying to bring her down. However, she is still relevant and still holds the crown. But she got into an online spat with Ye by refusing to clear the verse on ‘New Body’ on Kanye West and TY Dolla $ign’s ‘Vultures’.
Kanye West posted a screenshot of a message he sent to Nicki Minaj. It read, “Hi it’s ye. May I call you about clearing new body on the new album”. The song was supposed to be on the unreleased album of Ye titled ‘Yandhi’ which was to be released in 2018. Nicki responded to Kanye’s request on her livestream when a fan asked her about it.
Nicki Minaj said, “That train has left the station. No disrespect in anyway. I just put out a brand-new album. Why would I put out a song that has been out for 3 years? Come on guys.”
Now, during a listening party of ‘Vultures’ in Las Vegas, Kanye West took a jab at the ‘Monster’ rapper, saying, “I made that girl rewrite her verse three times for ‘Monster’. I supported her career. So I don’t know what it is. But we going to get this or we just ain’t going to push it.”

The Rapper Was Threatened By Nicki’s Verse On ‘Monster’
If we have to flip through pages of rap history, Nicki Minaj’s ‘Monster’ verse has to be one of the greatest debut verses of all time. There were some of the greatest in the rap game, but she bodied each of the people on the track. From Adele to Millie Bobby Brown, everyone knows the verse from the top.
Nicki Minaj’s verse was so powerful that Kanye West wanted to remove her verse from the album. Ye’s ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose, claimed that she put Nicki on the ‘Monster’ track from his ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’. She claimed that Kanye West wanted to remove her verse from the track. Amber added, “He said, ‘How the f**k did you bring in a bitch that killed me on my own song?”
