For Taylor Swift fans who have listened to her music for a long time, the influence of her producer and long time friend Jack Antonoff is pretty well known across her music. Antonoff has worked with her since 1989 and has added valuable contribution across all her songs, more specifically on her lockdown albums ‘Folklore‘ and ‘Evermore‘.
Of recent after Swift released ‘The Tortured Poets Department‘, fans started addressing the change in Swift’s music and blamed Antonoff’s production style for it, calling him out for apparently ‘ruining’ Taylor’s music. Now, Sabrina Carpenter has come to his defense.

Sabrina Carpenter Responds To Jack Antonoff Criticism Due To Taylor Swift
Following Taylor Swift’s footsteps, Sabrina Carpenter has also now started working with Swift’s producer Jack Antonoff, who also works with stars like Lana Del Rey and Lorde. While Antonoff has contributed significantly to some of Swift’s best work, he has also received a lot of criticism for apparently making pop stars like Taylor Swift sound “boring“
Addressing these statements, Sabrina Carpenter said, “F*** them all,” before adding, “I think he’s one of the most talented people I’ve ever met. When he’s in a room, he’s able to literally touch every instrument in the room and make it sound magical. He also works very fast, which I really appreciate because I work very fast.”
Antonoff first worked with Swift on 1989, for which she won two Grammys. After that they continued working on ‘Reputation‘, ‘Lover‘, ‘Folklore‘, for which they won another Grammy, ‘Evermore‘ and then ‘Midnights‘, which gave Swift her fourth Album Of The Year Grammy.
