Adding another feat to the long list of achievements she has made in history, Taylor Swift is now the first ever person in history to enter the billionaires club solely through a career in music and performing.
Thanks to her record-breaking Eras Tour, Swift, who earlier had a net worth of $800 million quickly got a status update as countless shows across the United States, Europe, and two countries in Asia collected a revenue of over billions, not only making her a billionaire, but also improving the economies of all the countries she performed in.
Her net worth is now reportedly $1.1 billion, making her one of the richest singers currently active, and the only one to make it to the list without the help of any self-made brand, makeup line, or business. Forbes writes, “Miss Americana capped off one of the most culturally influential years a musician has ever had by becoming a billionaire in October. Her estimated $190 million post-tax earnings from her historic Eras Tour helped boost the country-and-pop musician into the three-comma club—the first person to do it based solely on songwriting and performing.”
