Taylor Swift has found a stan in NFL commentator Ian Eagle during an NFL game! Recently, Swift announced that she will be releasing Taylor’s version of ‘1989’ in October 2023 during the ‘Eras Tour.’
Now, during the Kansas City Chiefs game with the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 17, 2023, Ian Eagle made a cheeky comment when Travis Kelce had his first touchdown. Eagle said, “Kelce finds a blank space for the score,” referencing the 2014 hit song ‘Blank Space’ from the ‘1989’ album when Travis caught a pass in the end zone.

During a podcast with Travis Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, he confessed that he tried to give his number to Taylor Swift during the Kansas City stop of the ‘Eras Tour.’ He said, “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings. So I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
Travis added, “I received a bunch of [friendship bracelets] being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.” The NFL star took things personally, because “she doesn’t meet anybody or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personally.”
During a recent interview with Andrew Siciliano, Travis Kelce skillfully dodged the question about Taylor Swift. Andrew asked Kelce whether he really had his number on a bracelet for Taylor Swift.
Travis answered, “I said what I said. And I meant what I said when I said it. And you know what, it is what it is. I’m not gonna talk about my personal life…I know what you writers wanna hear, and you wanna hear more about that and I’m not gonna give you anything.”
