Why Kanye West And TY Dolla $ign’s ‘Vultures’ Release Get Delayed?

Kanye West went into the deep trenches of hate in 2022, which created a lot of controversy with his anti-Semitic rants. Ye went on a rampage to spew hate on the Jews, due to which he was ousted from the industry. The rapper lost all his credibility in the industry and faced huge financial losses. After that, he went into a rabbit hole only to emerge to spew more hate and release new music with TY Dolla Sign.

Before the anti-Semitism controversy, Kanye West released his last album in 2021. Ye released an album dedicated to his mother titled ‘Donda’. He held many listening parties before releasing the two parts of the album. After two years, reports emerged that Kanye West would be releasing a new album with TY Dolla Sign. The album had a listening party recently in Miami, but the Nicki Minaj beef and KKK controversy have pushed the release of the album to 2024.

It has been tough for TY Dolla $ign and Kanye West to release their joint album ‘Vultures’. Initially, they faced hurdles in organizing a listening party in Italy after Bianca Censori and Kanye West’s controversies. The duo released the first song, ‘Vultures’, from the album, which received flak for Ye’s inflammatory lyrics about Jewish women.

Later, the ‘Ego Death’ rappers organized a listening party for ‘Vultures’ in Miami with Offset, Chris Brown, North West, Lil Durk, and others. During the concert, Ye wore a KKK-inspired hoodie, which received ire from the internet.

Kanye West and TY Dolla $ign have been facing issues releasing the album. They have changed the dates of the release several times. Recently, it was reported that ‘Vultures’ will be released on December 31, 2023, but as per a report by Billboard, the album will be released on January 12, 2024.

After five years, Nicki Minaj released a new album titled ‘Pink Friday 2’. The album is creating history on the charts with almost all the songs. It also became the highest-streamed album on the first day on Spotify by a female rapper.

While the hate train that began in 2017 was derailed after the success of her latest album, she ignited a feud with Ye by not approving her verse on ‘New Body’ on ‘Vultures’.

‘New Body’ was a song on Kanye West’s unreleased 2018 album ‘Yandhi’. So, after the listening party, Ye messaged Nicki to clear her verse on the song, but Minaj refused to do so.

On Instagram live, Nicki Minaj responded after getting asked about the feature on ‘New Body’. She said, “That train left the station. No disrespect in anyway. I just put out a brand-new album. Why would I put out a song that has been out for 3 years? Come on guys.”

Kanye West, during the Las Vegas listening party, took a jibe at Nicki, saying, “I made that girl rewrite her verse three times for ‘Monster’. I supported her career. So I don’t know what it is. But we going to get this or we just ain’t going to push it.”
