Recently, ‘Bridgerton’ star Regé-Jean Page made headlines as fans spotted him with the show’s Season 2 star Jonathan Bailey. The photograph lit up a ray of hope in the hearts of the millions of ‘Bridgerton’ fans. They are speculating his comeback in the third season of the show.
After ruling the screen in the first season of ‘Bridgerton’, the Duke of Hastings did not get back on his horse in the second season. His absence no doubt broke the hearts of fans. But, his recent viral photo with Bailey is making them hopeful for his return.

Is Regé-Jean Page’s Simon Set To Return To ‘Bridgerton’?
Regé-Jean Page, the actor who brought Simon to life in ‘Bridgerton‘, is ruling the headlines for his recent snapshot with Jonathan Bailey, who plays Anthony Bridgerton, in Milan. They met up during the fashion week. “The boys are back in town,” the caption of their picture on Instagram read.
Sadly, he added, “(No, I’m not going back to the show btw – the papers made that one up.),” setting any budding rumors to rest a year after his exit was announced in 2021. “But we had the best, and most stylish, catch up I’ve had in a while over some truly excellent Italian coffee and sunshine.”
‘Bridgerton’ So Far
The series is set in the regency era. It features the story of a family of eight siblings – Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Daphne, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory and Hyacinth. The first season focused on the story of the eldest sister Daphne and the Duke of Hastings. The steamy love story of the two snatched almost all the spotlight. The season wrapped up with a “happily ever after” note for the couple who ended up being a family of three.
The second season turned out to be quite different from the first one as the spotlight turned to the eldest brother of the Bridgerton family, Anthony Bridgerton. This time the romance shifted from Daphne and Simon to Viscount Anthony and Kate Sharma, played by Simone Ashley. Even though Simon did not show up in any part of the show, Phoebe Dynevor AKA Daphne still made an appearance. It is still unclear what is in the store for the third season of the show now.
