In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the Cobra Kai creators warned that his enemies having left him in prison, Kreese’s restraint is fully gone. “The soft spot is gone. Kreese is potentially more dangerous than ever” Hurwitz stated ominously. Without Johnny’s lingering influence to keep him under check, it seems Kreese is fully ready to be the main antagonist.

Kreese has always been pretty hardcore, but he’s always had a little bit of a soft spot for Johnny. This time around, the soft spot is gone” Hurwitz continued. “Kreese is hell-bent on destroying and humiliating [Johnny and Daniel]“. This pretty much confirms that fans will be subjected to a version of Kreese that hasn’t been seen before.
