Sex Education’ star Gillian Anderson stunned in Gabriela Hearst’s dreamy ivory strapless dress at the 2024 Golden Globes. The actress accessorized the dress with Chopard jewelry, which included a white gold necklace, earrings, a bracelet, and a handbag from Aquazzura. However, the highlight of the voluminous dress was the vulva motifs.
Gillian Anderson kept her look on brand of the designer and the character she played in ‘Sex Education’. The actress told Deadline about the dress. She said, “I wore it for so many reasons. It’s brand appropriate.” Gillian also told People that the design was floral, and it was covered in peonies. As per the brand statement, the embroidery took more than three hours.

While the fourth season of ‘Sex Education’ could not have been duller, Gillian Anderson’s Jean Millburn kept the wheel running. The series shed light on sex positivity and tried to address the stigmas around it.
Apart from that, it also explored different sexual orientations and gender identities and their struggles. While working on the show, Gillian got to know many things about gay sex.
During the ‘Women’s Prize for Fiction’ podcast, Gillian Anderson talked about discovering new things while working on ‘Sex Education’. She said, “There was certainly some activities particularly around gay sex that I’d never heard before.”
Gillian Anderson continued, “I felt like even though my character obviously is very open, sometimes too open, incredibly liberal and sexually free and I feel like…there’s nothing that usually shocks me.”
Anderson, while reading the script, had many gasping moments where she thought, “ ‘Can we say that? Really?’… God bless Netflix.”
