Twitter exploded almost immediately when the first looks were revealed by Netflix. While some are super excited about the upcoming live-action series, others are worried. Some are concerned about the lack of black representation in the main cast.

While others are just worried whether Netflix can step up the game from its predecessor’s absolute failure. M. Night Shyamalan’s 2010 version was a nightmare for Avatar fans. And netizens are concerned about Netflix pulling another disaster with the iconic show.

However, many have also praised the resemblance that Netflix has made with the main characters from the live-action and the original animation.
