Zack Snyder is creating his universe by mounting a project like Netflix’s ‘Rebel Moon’. Snyder had an affiliation with DC by directing the ‘Justice League’, which created creative differences between him and the studio. After parting ways, he worked on creating the ‘Rebel Moon’ universe, and finally, the first part was released.
The first part of ‘Rebel Moon’ introduced us to Kora, played by Sofia Boutella, who is assigned the duty of assembling a pack of warriors from different stars to save the farming colony, Veldt, to fight the Imperium army. However, there is a second part coming, which will explore the origin of Kora and a royal family that was wiped out of the universe. Zack said that the second part would be like a war film.
Zack Snyder Says ‘Rebel Moon—Part Two: The Scargiver’ Will Be A War Film
The end of ‘Rebel Moon—Part One: A Child of Fire’ has left many questions lingering about the existence of a royal family that vanished due to assassins. In the second part of ‘Rebel Moon’, Zack Snyder says that they have raised the stakes as the entire Veldt will fight Atticus Noble, who is aiming to colonize the entire village with his army, Imperium.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Zack Snyder confirmed that ‘The Scargiver’ will be a war film. He said, “Part Two is a war movie. We know that Noble’s alive and Belisarius has given him the task of finding his daughter and bringing her back to him at all costs.”
He continued, “So the stakes have risen for the village from ‘hey, we want some of your grain’ to now ‘you’re harboring the most wanted fugitive in the history of the galaxy.’”

Ed Skrein Reveals Zack Snyder Wants Part Two Of The Film Feel Like Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dunkirk’
The Oscar-winning Christopher Nolan’s war drama based on real-life events, ‘Dunkirk’, was an immersive experience that took us through the gamut of a stellar war film, consisting of a great cast, superior background music, and skillfully staged war sequences and cinematography.
The film went on to earn $526 million worldwide, and now Zack Snyder wants to replicate that experience with ‘Rebel Moon—Part Two: The Scargiver’.
During an interview with GamesRadar+ Ed Skrein said, “I remember Zack saying with the second movie that he wanted it to feel like Dunkirk. So, it’s like a space at the beginning, and then it’s going off.”
Ed continued, “And it’s really, really going off. And, you know, Return of the King, Lord of the Rings vibes where it’s like, ‘Okay, we kind of know where they’re going.’ It’s like, ‘Alright, now let’s just sit back, eat loads of popcorn, and watch it all kickoff.’”
