Amber Heard testified on Wednesday, May 4. She shared how her ex-husband Johnny Depp physically mistreated her. Johnny hit her many times and even did a cavity search of her body to find his drugs. Many others were skeptical of the actress’ statement. Some are even accusing her of false tears in the courtroom of Virginia. Also, this is for the first time, Heard has testified in this high-profile defamation case. She described her and Johnny’s romance as beautiful until it became violent.
As you know, Depp is suing Heard for $50 million. This is based on the op-ed she wrote in 2018, she defamed him by pretending to be a victim of domestic abuse. Heard has also filed a $100 million countersuit against Depp, accusing him of waging a slander campaign against her.

Depp’s first violent outburst, according to Heard, occurred when she inquired about the meaning of one of his fading tattoos. The tattoo was of his old love for Winona Ryder. The text that had faded was ‘Wino’. Heard laughed at this, assuming it was a joke. Johnny then smacked her in the face. Depp has previously stated that he never beat Heard. Depp has also shared that she was the one who abused him throughout the relationship. She reasoned that she stuck with Depp because she believed his apologies and pledges that he would never beat her.

Depp, on the other hand, is accused of attacking her “many times” while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Also, Depp reportedly tore her clothing, pulled off her underwear, and put his fingers into her in May 2013. He did so to find drugs. Dawn Hughes, Heard’s psychologist, testified earlier in the trial that she had informed him of the event.

Despite this, Heard’s emotive testimony was slammed on social media, with many accusing her of faking her emotions. Some Twitter users shared how they felt when they saw Amber trying really very hard to cry but to no avail, she succeeds in getting even a tear-out!
