‘Euphoria’ actress Hunter Schafer has been arrested for taking part in a Pro-Palestine protest, outside Seth Meyer’s show where President Joe Biden was a guest.
The protest, organized by Jewish Voices for Peace, stood outside Meyer’s show, in an attempt to disrupt his appearance. A group of protestors were arrested for this, including Schafer. Read on to know more.
Hunter Schafer Gets Arrested
The 25-year-old actress, who gained popularity for her roles in the popular teen drama Euphoria and Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, protested with a Jewish-led group that identifies as “anti-Zionist” on Monday in order to interfere with President Joe Biden’s appearance on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers‘. Schafer and the group of protestors advocated for and demanded a ceasefire in Gaza.
The actor was taken into custody with fifty other protestors outside the NBC offices at the Rockefeller Center in New York.
Addressing the incident, the group stated, “We commend Hunter Schafer’s commitment to Palestinian freedom and to a future of justice for everyone.”
They also posted pictures from the protest on Instagram and wrote, “The President needs to start listening to the American people – not the far-Right Israeli government indiscriminately bombing the people of Gaza, destroying 70% of infrastructure, including hospitals, universities and the electricity and water grids.”

Hunter is one of the few people in Hollywood who has publicly advocated for Palestinian rights in public, which is truly commendable. Fans are now supporting the actress for standing up for a cause like this while calling out other celebrities who are yet to speak up on the matter.
