Howard Stern: ‘Narcissist’ Johnny Depp Is ‘Overacting’ In Amber Heard Trial

Howard Stern slammed Johnny Depp for “overacting” while testifying against Amber Heard in their defamation case. The trials are being live-streamed on several platforms since April 11. Johnny Depp is suing Amber Heard for defamation. This comes after she wrote an op-ed piece in the Washington Post about their alleged abusive relationship. Judge Penney Azcarate allowed cameras to live stream the trial, despite Heard’s legal team’s attempts to prevent it. Depp’s team did not openly contest the decision. During an episode of his SiriusXM show, however, Howard chastised the actor for “overacting” in his ongoing defamation case against Amber Heard.

Howard strongly believes that the only reason why Johnny Depp went on to broadcast the trials was to follow the steps of narcissists. Stern believes that Johnny Depp thinks that he can do anything that he wants to but that is not true. Howard finds Johnny Depp to be a narcissist because he thinks that Depp figured out a way to bring attention and get empathy.

Stern further added that apparently, Johnny Depp figured out that by broadcasting the case on TV he can prove that he is persuasive and very smart. Howard thinks that this would not make Johnny Depp a wonderful guy, not at all. Howard also claimed that if some clips of Johnny Depp’s trial are viewed again, one would understand that he has written the script and overacted! Stern strongly believes that this should not have been posted on television for the public.
