As Taylor Swift performed for the second night in Lisbon, the pop sensation seemingly got emotional and spoke her heart out to her fans present there. In a heart-touching speech, she thanked the Eras Tour crowd for being an incredible audience and revealed how touched she was to have the opportunity to perform for them.
A video of Taylor Swift’s emotional speech posted on X quickly garnered heavy attention from her fans on the internet. As Swift stood center stage, she explained, “we are currently in the Red era” of her show. She then talked about how she has done tours for albums like ‘Fearless‘, ‘Speak Now‘, and ‘Red‘, but never brought those to Lisbon.
“And during the course of those tours… we made so many fun memories, but the one thing that I wish I would have done differently is I wish I could have brought every one of those tours to come see you in Lisbon,” the singer said.

She then revealed that she designed the Eras Tour to encapsulate her favorite memories from past tours so her Lisbon fans don’t miss out. She said the Eras tour is designed “to be all of my favorite memories from those tours in the past and put them all in one show, so that now we can all experience those memories together. And that’s why I think I’m having this much fun with you on this tour,” as the crowd cheered.

Taylor Swift Surprises Her Portuguese Fans With Delightful Gesture
Taylor Swift said she is amazed at the energy her audience in Lisbon is carrying. “I’ve just never seen a crowd like this in my life… There have been moments in this show already where I like, forget what I’m supposed to do next or what I’m supposed to say because I’m just so distracted by how much fun you’re having and how you’re performing in the audience. I love this,” she said.
She continued, “You’re just so in the moment and I cannot tell you how special that is for us as performers to get to look out and make eye contact with you and connect with you in this way.”
Taylor Swift then introduced to her audience the 10-minute version of ‘All Too Well‘. “There is, before I start crying, one song that I want to play you from the Red album if you happen to have about ten minutes to spare. Do you have ten minutes?” she said before starting off.
This is the first time that Taylor Swift has performed in Portugal. During her first show on Friday, Swift surprised her fans by speaking Portuguese. She said, “Muito obrigada” (thank you very much) to show her gratitude and later used Portuguese to instruct security to help fans in the crowd.
