Since the first season of ‘Stranger Things’ premiered, it instantly became the most-viewed series on Netflix. With heartbreaking deaths, supernatural elements, and a friendship saga, ‘Stranger Things’ ends in its fifth and final season. However, not all original cast members are rumored to reprise their final season roles.
With each season, the ‘Stranger Things’ family keeps expanding. In season four, Eduardo Franco joined the ‘Stranger Things’ family as Argyle and instantly became a fan favorite. Unfortunately, there is no confirmation if the character will return.

Will Argyle Return For Stranger Things Season Five
Eduardo Franco embodied Argyle, Jonathan Byers’s stoner best friend and a delivery driver at Surfer Boy Pizza. The fans immediately loved the character for his comical presence. However, Argyle is not as important as the show’s core characters, so if season five continues without him, it would not be so bad.
Eduardo Franco confirmed in an interview on the ‘Teve Varley Show’ that he won’t return as Argyle in the upcoming episodes. The actor further added, “I appreciate that. It’s nice to hear that there’s some sort of concern, you know what I mean? But yeah, I never got a phone call, so yeah, I think that’s it.”

Another Character Is Being Introduced Replacing Argyle
After a two-year wait, ‘Stranger Things’ season five has officially begun filming, and a recent update suggests that Amybeth McNulty may be promoted to a series regular in the final seasons. As the final season is still in the making, the primary focus will remain on the existing characters to complete their character arc rather than introducing a new one. The new photo drop of the season five cast hints that Amybeth McNulty who played Vickie, might have a bigger role in the upcoming season meaning the fans will get to see more of Robin and Vickie’s romance evolving.
Vickie was introduced as Robin’s crush during the ‘Stranger Things’ season four premiere as the recurring cast members. Amybeth McNulty’s character played the clarinet in the marching band of Hawkins High School alongside Robin. However, Robin was too afraid to tell Vickie about her true feelings because she was unaware of Vickie’s sexuality.
