Tom Holland plays the role of Spider-Man in the MCU live-action movies. The idea of Holland being involved in the second film was first teased by the movie’s producer Amy Pascal. When asked about the possibility, she said, “(I am) not going to comment on anything around that!” She also added, “Tom Holland does love these [Spider-Verse] movies…”
Movie insider Jeff Sneider also teased the possibility. He said, “I’d heard that part of the delay of [Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse] was about getting Tom Holland in that movie and that one of the dimensions that Miles could end up going to is a live-action dimension with Tom Holland’s [Spider-Man].”
Insider Daniel Richtman has also mentioned how the film focuses heavily on a major point that altered the universe. With ‘No Way Home‘ featuring events that alter the multiverse, it wouldn’t be farfetched to see Tom Holland in the animated movie.

What To Expect From The Movie?
As of now, it has not been confirmed if Tom Holland will be appearing in ‘Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse‘. But one can hope for a cameo from the current Spider-Man. Although, we know that the movie will be directed by Kemp Powers, Joaquim Dos Santos, and Justin K. Thompson.
The movie will see the return of Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman, Oscar Isaac as Spider-Man 2099, Jake Johnson as Peter B Parker, and Brian Tyler Henry as Jefferson Davis. The movie is written by Christopher Miller, David Callaham, and Phil Lord.
While talking about the upcoming movie, the writers said, “The things that we’re doing in this new Spider-Verse movie are breaking the pipelines all over again, But everyone’s excited about it and not just terrified.” It has also been mentioned how the movie has a serious plot and should not be considered just a kids’ movie.
The viewers can expect the movie to feature different Spider-people from various universes just like the first one. Especially considering how in the Tom Holland Spider-Man movies, he altered the universe. The events caused him to meet other Spidermans from an alternate universe. Hence, fans could expect to see him in the movie.
