What Happened To Morgan Freeman’s Left Hand?
Fans were left wondering when they saw Morgan Freeman wearing a glove during the opening ceremony, and that too in only one hand. The reason behind this dates back to a car accident that he suffered back in 2008. He was left with many injuries due to the crash, including one of his hands being paralyzed permanently.
Hence, the glove that he was wearing wasn’t an ordinary glove. The beige-colored glove was actually a compression glove that Freeman had to wear to move his hand a bit. As mentioned in Who Magazine In 2010, Morgan stated, “I suffered nerve damage, and it hasn’t gotten better. I can’t move it.”
