Ms. Marvel actor Iman Vellani has released a statement in response to fan backlash over the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s decision to modify the character’s abilities. The story of Ms. Marvel revolves around Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American teenager and avid fan of Captain Marvel.
Kamala has a difficult time fitting in at school until she discovers she possesses superpowers of her own. She is the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe Disney+ series cast.
Ms. Marvel has the capacity to vary her size in the comics; she can stretch, change the form, elongate, and so on. Imagine the abilities of a superhero like Mr. Fantastic; while they are distinct in their own right, they may frequently be used and shown in a similar way.
Marvel Studios has removed Kamala Khan’s superpowers from the Disney+ adaptation, a bold move for a studio that prefers to stay true to the source material rather than stray too far from it. Instead, she plans to create light structures that are purplish-pink in hue.

Vellani has claimed that the core of the character and her story would stay loyal to the source material, despite the fact that Ms. Marvel’s powers have been altered to fit within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
