1. Joaquin Guzman
Joaquin Guzman is one of the world’s most wanted men. He is originally from Mexico, controlling his territory over its areas. Also known by the names El Chapo or Shorty, he is charged with smuggling cocaine and marijuana into the United States. Joaquin is known to have been in hiding from the police since almost 2001 now, after his escape from the Mexico prison. He is presently believed to be staying in the mountains of Northwest Mexico.
2. Dawood Ibrahim
Dawood Ibrahim is one of the most wanted criminals in India. He leads a criminal members team called the “D-Company” that is involved in crimes ranging from smuggling to contract killings. The “D-Company” is known to work not only in India but also in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. Ibrahim has also been linked to working with Al Qaeda and collaborating in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Dawood is currently believed to be living in Pakistan.
3. Semion Mogilevich
Semion Mogilevich is one of the top criminals in Russia. He was arrested in 2008 in relation to a fraud accusation. However, he was released the following year. Per reports of the FBI, the United States believes that Mogilevich is related to a $150 million stock fraud, which he denies. The U.S. also believes Mogilevich to be a criminal threat and asked Russia for his handover. But due to the lack of an extradition treaty, the handover did not happen, and he remains a fugitive.

4. Alimzhan Tokhtakhounov
Alimzhan Tokhtakhounov is an organized crime leader in Italy. He is originally from Uzbekistan but has been in Italy for a long time now. He is also popular as “Taiwanchik” by the people of Italy de to his Asian features. He is linked to organized crimes such as smuggling drugs, selling arms, and even trafficking vehicles that are stolen. He was also known to bribe Olympic games in Utah. Although he was arrested in Italy, Tokhtakhounov was later freed by the Italians eventually and is free since.
5. Felicien Kabuga
Felicien Kabuga is one of the most wanted men in Africa. He is linked with one of the major and most devastating genocides in human history — the massacre of 800,000 Rwandans in 1994. Kabuga was suspected to be the key financier of this genocide. Kabuga’s own radio station was found to be an evidence of his involvement in spreading violence against the Tutsi population of Rwanda.
6. Joseph Kony
Joseph Kony is the leader of Lord’s Resistance Army — a guerrilla group in Uganda trying to establish a theocratic government. The group is infamous for civilian killings, in Uganda as well as Congo and Sudan. Joseph Kony has abducted thousands of people, displacing them and also forcing them to work in his crimes of murder, slavery, rape, and even mutilation. He has been charged with 33 crimes which include crimes against humanity and war crimes. He remains on the run and on the national and international blacklist.
