‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ is all set to be released towards the end of 2023. The film has already gained a lot of recognition for its casting and particularly for Amber Heard, who became a popular name in 2022 for her involvement in the defamation trial.
But apart from all these, the appearance of two Batmans is another rumor that has been running around for a long time. The news is true in terms of ‘The Flash’ but audiences are also expecting the same after listening to reports that two Batmans have shot for ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’.

Batman’s Role In ‘Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom‘
The reports of Ben Affleck’s return as Batman in the ‘Aquaman’ sequel first came out in July 2022. There was another report of Michael Keaton also playing the same role. Things make sense because Batman and Aquaman have already worked together in the past while defeating Steppenwolf.
There is a hope that Affleck could make an appearance in the post-credits scene of ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ where he will approach Aquaman to take down another enemy. But because the film will be set inside the ocean for most of the time, Affleck might appear as Bruce Wayne for some time.

Possibilities Of Ben Affleck And Michael Keaton’s Appearances
‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ was delayed several times for different reasons. But the latest delay happened because ‘The Flash’ is all set to give a new form to the DCEU and so, the ‘Aquaman’ sequel will be set in another universe. Moreover, the film will be all about the battle between the ocean and the surface world and the inclusion of two Batmans will possibly be imperfect.
‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom‘ does not need two Batmans and there have been reports that ‘The Flash’ has also reduced a few important cameo appearances. Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, and Ben Affleck have not been confirmed to be a part of James Gunn’s new plans for DCEU.
But the one man who will possibly suffer some loss is Michael Keaton. Although Affleck might not return as Batman, Keaton was possibly expecting a lot from the DCEU to use his role for future projects. Things seem to be impossible for now as ‘Batgirl‘ has also been canceled. DCEU franchise is repeating the same mistake where they create a lot of hype for something with the plan being eventually canceled in the end.
