The much-awaited docuseries with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry named ‘Harry & Meghan‘ released on the streaming platform Netflix on December 8, 2022. From the couple’s first meeting to their family affairs comes into discussion in the docuseries. However, Meghan’s half-sister Samantha Markle has slammed the Netflix documentary series.
Meghan’s father Thomas Markle Sr. and half-siblings have called out the documentary to be “disturbing” and “far-off“. With just three parts of the six-part docuseries out there is so much chaos coming from different family members. Samantha has called the docuseries a “lie upon lie” and here’s the reason why.

Samantha Markle Calls ‘Harry & Meghan’ A “Flopumentary”
Meghan’s half-sister Samantha has accused her sister to be lying in the docuseries. She also pointed out that her sister had taken a manipulative stance throughout the episodes. “It’s so rhetorical at the moment, and there are so many lies thrown around, refuted, and still there is a repeated need to push this narrative,” Samantha reacted to her sister’s revelations.
It was in the third episode of the documentary that Meghan talked about her sister and how they hadn’t seen each other “for over a decade”. The Duchess of Sussex also rejected all claims made in 2017 of Samantha being close to her. The actress confessed that she didn’t know her half-sister’s date of birth or middle name.
Talking to Sunrise hosts on December 10 morning, Samantha shunned Meghan’s words to be “ridiculous” and bordering on “comedy”. Samantha labeled the docuseries, a “flopumentary“.

Why Was Meghan Markle’s Niece Ashleigh Not Invited To The Royal Wedding?
Samantha was surprised to hear the reason why her daughter Ashleigh was not invited to the wedding. “It was really surprising to hear that there was a narrative that made Ashleigh feel like she wasn’t invited because of something to do with me. I heard from a royal insider who knows, it was with Meghan, so Meghan lied to my daughter which made my daughter feel ashamed of me,” Samantha said.
Meghan and Samantha’s daughter have a very close relationship. For Ashley, Meghan was her best friend, sister, and also maternal figure. Ashleigh did not have such a smooth relationship with her mother. Thus she was adopted by her paternal grandparents. Meghan had also been a presence at Ashleigh’s wedding.
In the docuseries, Meghan’s niece stated that she couldn’t attend the royal wedding due to her strained relationship with Samantha and guidance from the palace. “I can see how my daughter must have felt, torn between the two and then feeling like she couldn’t go to the wedding because of me. That’s not true, it’s a lie. I found out the royals didn’t say what Meghan said. Meghan then lied to my daughter and made my daughter feel like it was something wrong with me that prevented her from going to the wedding,” Samantha said and slammed Meghan’s claims as “horrible lies“.
