What Was The Reason For Meghan Markle’s Feud With Her Father?
We all have been aware of the Duchess’ relationship with her father, ever since he wasn’t present at the royal wedding, and neither did he walk her down the aisle. In a CBC tell-all interview in 2021, Meghan revealed her estranged relationship with her dad and talked about how they fell apart.
Meghan mentioned that ever since the news of her and Harry dating had been out, her parents were very keen on following the ‘no comments’ policy. But after not attending his daughter’s wedding, Thomas was seen talking down the royal family. As mentioned in Us Weekly, he even compared her in-laws to a “cult.”

Have Meghan And Her Father Reconciled Since Her Wedding To Prince Harry?
As of December 2022, the Duchess of Sussex has still not reconciled with her father. In October 2019, Mail On Sunday published an article that was a letter from Meghan to her father. Meghan had described her thoughts and feelings in that letter, talking about her father’s health and their relationship.
The media outlet was later sued by Meghan. As with King Charles and the Late Queen Elizabeth II, according to reports, they had tried to make Meghan talk with her father several times. Charles was frustrated with Thomas Markle’s public comments on the royal family and had asked Meghan to solve the issue with her father.
