Piers Morgan, the Sky News Australia host known for his unfazed criticism, has named the two anonymous royals who had allegedly made racial remarks against Prince Archie in Omid Scobie’s controversial book, ‘Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival’.
“I’m going to cut through all this crap,” Morgan said in the Piers Morgan Uncensored segment. Spilling the tea on the two names, he said the senior royals in question are “King Charles and Catherine, Princess of Wales.”
Morgan Says There Was No Translation Error In Dutch Version Of ‘Endgame’
The racist comments from the royals against Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son Archie’s skin color had come after the former’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, which had stirred a huge controversy.
Scobie’s book ‘Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival’ was halted for publication in Holland on Tuesday, November 28. Xander Publishers said the US requested them to halt sales of the book in the country.
It was also nowhere to be seen on shelves in the Netherlands after reports claimed that the royal names involved in the racism controversy were mentioned in the country’s version of the book. The Dutch publishers had said there was a “translation error“.
Piers Morgan, however, claimed that there was no translation error and the names in the book were crystal clear. “How do you mistranslate names?” he contended. He then went on to claim that Scobie has put an “ugly smear” on the royal family.
Dutch royal journalist Rick Evers, meanwhile, said that the names perhaps got leaked because the Netherlands had been overlooked while erasing the names in other versions.
“Maybe someone overlooked the Netherlands to send as a memo to the publisher, or maybe the publisher forgot to do it, I don’t know,” Evers said.

Morgan Says Scobie Is A ‘Lickspittle’ And A ‘Liar‘
Biographer Tom Bower also chimed in, claiming that it is “impossible” for foreign versions to contain the things that the authors themselves did not know were there.
“He’s (Omid Scobie) a terrible liar…and he lied when he said he didn’t have Meghan’s help with this book…his book again is Meghan’s voice,” Bower said.
In an opinion piece, Morgan described Scobie as a “lickspittle“ and slammed him for peddling “constant garbage about the Royal Family“. He also accused him of putting forth false narratives, and trashed his statement claiming Piers had phone chats with Queen Camilla.
“I’ve never had a single phone conversation with Her Majesty in my entire life,” Morgan said. “He (Scobie) also says that ‘When Piers called the Duchess of Sussex Pinocchio Princess and then a race-baiter on Good Morning Britain…it was Camilla who quietly thanked him for defending the Firm’, this, again, is a lie.”
“Given everything he says about me in the book is false, forgive me if I take the rest of it with a dose of putrid old suspicious salt too,” Morgan said.
