Prince Andrew was freshly out of a breakup with the actress Koo Stark. There were accusations that she starred in certain soft porn cinema and media deemed her a “porn star”. They parted ways in 1982. Later, fate and Princess Diana made Sarah Ferguson and Andrew meet. The two have known each other since they were three years old.
Ferguson’s father retired Major Ronald Ferguson and Prince Philip played Polo together. During the Harper’s Bazaar interview, Sarah Ferguson barred it all. She revealed that Prince Andrew was not around her when she was pregnant with Princess Beatrice. Sarah accused the Royal Family of not being understanding and supportive when she insisted Andrew be with her. The Duchess of York said, “Andrew got 10 days of shore leave, and when he left and I cried, they all said: ‘Grow up and get a grip.'”
However, Sarah Ferguson got attracted to her financial advisor from New York, John Bryan during their separation period. The two met through mutual friends and he became a financial advisor for Sarah. In the early 1990s, the couple announced separation from one another.
