“Better Call Saul” Drops The Trailer For The Final Season
The trailer of the sixth season of Better Call Saul shows Saul’s character inching close to what he appears in the parent series Breaking Bad. Howard Hamlin makes a strong and lingering presence in the trailer. While Saul and Kim are shown moving ahead with their plan against Hamlin, Hamlin is in a league of his own as he plots a comeback at Saul with a lawsuit.
Moreover, the trailer shows Kim being in danger in this season, confirming the audience’s fear for a long time. The absence of Kim from Breaking Bad made the audience speculate the character’s end somewhere within this prequel series. And now that it’s the last season, the fear seems to be finally turning true.
Furthermore, the video shows Lalo Salamanca’s escape from the attack orchestrated by Gus and Nacho Warga. And then as the trailer moves ahead, Lalo’s seen meeting up with a mystery man who closely resembles him. Moreover, their way of greeting each other speaks for his involvement in the plot. The trailer ends with a warning line saying, “Whatever happens next, it’s not gonna go down the way you think it is.”
Fan Theories Finalise The Actor For The Mystery Man’s Part
The fans’ speculations hint towards the mystery man being played by actor Marcus DeAnda. DeAnda has been credited as a cast member for this season at a website, causing the viewers’ pointer to turn towards him. Marcus DeAnda has previously worked in shows like 13 Reasons Why and NCIS: Los Angeles.
Fan theories are abuzz about his presence in the final season of the show. However, the character details are vague with many citing him as a member of Lalo’s family, while others think he played a body double.
“I think the Lalo’s double theory makes the most sense so far,” read one comment on Reddit. “I mean, he has the gray wave in his hair and he is shaving in front of the mirror, keeping his mustache – to look exactly like Lalo.”
