HBO’s ‘The White Lotus‘ is gearing up for another season and has even ramped up its cast. Mike White is the creator of the show and also serves as the executive producer and director of the series. Meanwhile, for the new season, David Bernad and Mark Kamine have also joined as executive producers.
‘The White Lotus‘ has been a successful show, as it was received well from the audience. It also won several accolades since the awards season kicked off with the Golden Globes on Sunday. As the Season 3 of the show is set to be shot in Thailand, the production has added a brand new member to its cast.

Carrie Coon Graces The Cast Of ‘The White Lotus’
‘The White Lotus‘ is introducing Carrie Coon, known for her roles in HBO’s ‘The Gilded Age‘ and ‘The Leftovers’. Coon will be a new addition to an already star-studded cast, including Parker Posey, Jason Isaacs, Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Michelle Monaghan, and Tayme Thapthimthong.
Apart from Coon, Natasha Rothwell will reprise her role as Belinda as was previously reported. Rothwell also received an Emmy nomination for the show’s first season. She said she is highly excited about the upcoming scripts as season 3 is set for release.
“I gasped out loud a minimum of five times, and this was just me reading them. The scripts are a testament to Mike’s skill and ability to tell the most smart and entertaining stories. I mean, everything that he does is like a lesson to me as an actor and a performer,” she said.
“And as a writer myself, he takes folks on a journey. Everyone needs to buckle up, because it’s going to get real!” she added.

‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 Is Set In Thailand
Season 3 of the show will be shot in Thailand, with production scheduled to start in and around Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok in February. HBO has partnered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to support the filming and promotion of the third installment.
The show’s new addition Carrie Coon, is renowned for her role as Bertha Russell in HBO’s ‘The Gilded Age‘. Coon is also an Emmy-winning actress and has made her mark in other critically acclaimed shows.
The fans now eagerly await the third season set against the exotic backdrop of Thailand. The stellar cast coupled with Mike White’s storytelling promises a third season.
