After the success of ‘The Boys‘, the series universe expanded with its spinoff show ‘Gen V‘. The spin-off series also excited the fans with the return of a few iconic characters from The Boys.
After the success of the first season, ‘Gen V’ is all set with the production of its sophomore year. The filming will reportedly happen in Toronto, Ontario commencing mid-April, where ‘The Boys’ was also filmed.

What Does ‘Gen V’s Season 2 Working Title Mean?
The title is reportedly named Nero, meaning Black in Italian. The name is connected with season three of The Boys when Black Noir became AWOL after Soldier Boy’s return. In the comics, Black Noir was eventually revealed to be a Homelander clone created to take the real Homelander down in case he ever went rogue.
Nero could potentially be a reference to this storyline that – if adapted – might link Season four of ‘The Boys’ with Season two of ‘Gen V’. A theory by CoveredGeekly explains that another character from ‘The Boys’ universe like Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy may end up taking up the Black Noir suit instead of a Homelander clone.
