Talking to Elle, actress Olivia Cooke revealed there was an “animalistic” sex scene that was shot featuring Alicent Hightower, but didn’t make it to the final cut as it didn’t do much for the plot.

“It was messy as f—,” Cooke said. “It wasn’t beautiful, and that was really fun to do.” Cooke added that the scene was “carnal” and “animalistic,” and explained that writer Ryan Condal edited it out because “we weren’t learning any more about the characters.”

Talking about more of the spicy scenes in the series, the actress said, “I thought there’d be way more, and so I’m relieved that when it has been used for me, it’s showing Alicent being pleasured, which is amazing and doesn’t feel gratuitous. It feels like we’re telling a story.”

A civil war approaches as both sides enlist the aid of Westeros’ noble families in an effort to build troops and dragons.

The season is getting major support from fans and is going viral everywhere with just two episodes out. Fans are excited to see what plot twists will come with the coming episodes and if there is another season in store.
