Jack Reacher is officially getting ready for another mission. After months of anticipation, Prime Video has finally announced the return date for โReacherโ Season 4. And it’s not long before the former military investigator is back on the case.
Jack Reacher’s Next Case Heads To New York
The hit action series will debut a little more than a year after Season 3 concluded on August 12. The new season will follow the same format as the previous one, with three episodes released at the beginning of the season, followed by a weekly schedule that will lead up to a final episode in mid-September.
In Season 4, โReacherโ is plunged into another high-stakes mystery after seeing what looks like a suicide on a New York subway, after which he is sent off to the novel Gone Tomorrow by Lee Child.ย
His intuition soon tells him that there’s much more to the situation than they let on. And then he gets caught up in a dangerous conspiracy that’s unfolding behind the scenes. Production of the new season started in June 2025 and concluded later in the year.
With the reputation that the series has built for itself, with action and well-plotted mysteries, it’s no surprise that the series has high expectations for โReacher‘s next investigation. The cast varies from adaptation to adaptation, but the one thing that remains constant is Alan Ritchson.
The โReacherโ Universe Is Getting Even Bigger
โReacher‘s return is just a part of Prime Video’s growing plans for the franchise. The much-anticipated spinoff, โNeagleyโ, starring Maria Sten as Frances Neagley, will air on September 16, the same day that โReacherโ Season 4 wraps up.

Unlike the main series’ weekly rollout, the spinoff is expected to release all eight episodes at once. It gives fans two major events to look forward to in a single week.
There’s even more reason for excitement. It’s no surprise that Prime Video has already renewed โReacherโ for Season 5, given that it’s one of the streamer’s most successful original series.
Now that it’s confirmed for release, everyone’s focus is on the marketing campaign. The fans are looking forward to the first official trailer and new footage, which may be coming soon as Prime Video starts promoting the next chapter. As the previous adventures suggest, โReacher’s next assignment will be another exciting blend of suspense, extreme violence, and unrelenting justice.
