Nine seasons of ‘The Office‘ is something that none can get tired of. With balanced serialization and mood-elevating humor, the mockumentary had its audience teary-eyed as it concluded. Steve Carell – Michael Scott
A huge part in making the show what it is today relied on the actor Steve Carell. Michael Scott did have a separate fanbase as he paved his way through ‘The Office‘ year after year. He made the audience crack up with his witty humor and judgy remarks. Carell has taken up many dramatic and critically acclaimed roles after ‘The Office‘. The actor got an Academy nod for Best Actor, for the film ‘Foxcatcher’ in 2014. He also earned Golden Globe Nominations for his performance in ‘Battle of Sexes’ in 2017. He acted in the critically-acclaimed movie ‘Beautiful Boy‘ along with Timothee Chalamet. His TV show ‘The Morning Show‘ alongside Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston has also gathered much attention. Steve Carell is happily married to his wife Nancy since 1995 and has two kids.
John Krasinski-Jim Halpert
Krasinski took to more serious roles onscreen and offscreen after he departed from the beloved show. The adorable paper salesman became an executive producer and director. In 2018, he wrote, directed, and starred along with his wife, Emily Blunt in the critically acclaimed horror movie ‘A Quiet Place‘. Its sequel came out in 2021. He returned back to the small screen through his role in the Amazon Prime Video series, ‘Jack Ryan‘ which he produced. John and Emily are happily together with their two daughters, Violet and Hazel.
Rainn Wilson – Dwight Schrute
After The Office, Wilson starred in a short-lived series ‘Backstrom‘ as a police lieutenant and also became a recurring cast member on ‘Roadies‘. He acted in ‘The Meg‘ back in 2018 and voiced Gargamel in ‘Smurfs: The Lost Village‘ in 2017. He had a recurring role in the TV series ‘Mom’ in 2019 and 2020. In 2022, he’ll appear in ‘Weird: The Al Yankovic Story‘, with Daniel Radcliffe as its lead. Rainn Wilson is married to writer Holiday Reinhorn, and they have a son together.
Jenna Fischer – Pam Beesly
Fischer appeared in different roles on the small screen after ‘The Office‘ was wrapped up. She acted in the series ‘You, Me and the Apocalypse’, ‘The Mysteries of Laura‘ and ‘Drunk History‘ to name a few. She appeared opposite Oliver Hudson on the Ellen DeGeneres-produced ABC sitcom ‘Splitting Up Together‘ which was aired for two seasons. In 2019, the actress started a podcast called ‘Office Ladies‘ with former co-star Angela Kinsey on which they rewatch the series and share their fun moments on set. They also released a book, ‘The Office BFFs‘ in 2022.
B.J.Novak – Ryan Howard
B.J. Novak collaborated with the show till it wrapped up in 2013. He was part of the project ‘The Newsroom’ alongside Paul Lieberstein and also took part in Mindy Kaling’s ‘The Mindy Project‘ from 2013 to 2015. On the big screen, he appeared in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2‘ in 2014 and ‘The Founder‘ in 2016. B.J. starred in the horror film ‘Vengeance‘ (2022) which he also wrote and directed. He also published two books in 2014, which became New York Times bestsellers.
Mindy Kaling – Kelly Kapoor
This actress was not only a presence onscreen but was also a prolific writer who penned some of the episodes of ‘The Office‘. Kaling made her own comedy series ‘The Mindy Project‘ which aired for six seasons from 2013 to 2017. She also improved her career as an actor by appearing in films like ‘Inside Out‘ ‘A Wrinkle in Time‘ and ‘Ocean’s 8‘. Kaling was also involved in the creation of the comedy series, ‘Never Have I Ever‘ which is successfully airing for three seasons. Mindy Kaling is a single mother of Katherine and Spencer.
